Default tiling halfway up a wall

I'm currently tiling halfway up a wall but after stripping the walls etc and prepping i've discovered the walls are up to about 8mm out in places.

Now this normally wouldn't cause me a problem tiling to the ceiling with back buttering etc but has anyone got any ideas for when i come to fix the trim?

I know with the walls being this far out, the trim is gonna look horrendous - its a PVC trim with a mosaic kind of pattern

Customer does not want to pay for plastering the walls

    Much appreciated guys

I have had this problem before, tile as per the normal keeping them straight. The last row leave the adhesive shy from the top by the depth of the trim back ( the bit behind the tiles). Then fill with adhesive and slip the trim in flush with the tile face. Finally use Ardex feather finish to feather from the back edge to nothing....this stuff is sandable and paintable in 2 hrs....Gaz

    ARDEX FEATHER FINISH
Size (pack): 11kg bags, 5kg tubs.
Coverage: Up to 50mē/bag as a skim coat, 10mē at 1mm thick.
Specially formulated for thinner repairs, this rapid drying smoothing and patching compound is used for filling and feather finishing on plywood, concrete, cement/sand screeds and existing ceramic tiles, receives floorcoverings as a scratch coat after only 15 minutes on absorbent sub-floors.

    Thanks Gaz

The tile trim doesn't have the bit to stick behind the tiles - its a PVC trim about 60mm high - i'd have to use hard as nails or similar to stick it on!

I've advised the customer that it will look crap but its her choice
