| Tiling courses | | Right guys how many weeks did you do on your tiling course, one week, two weeks, 6 weeks etc. I did two weeks and i had never done tiling before, i think i learnt the basics and just needed to put them into practise. I would rather no training schools answered this question i want new tilers to get advice from guys who had already done there training. I know everybody learns quicker than others but when your starting up paying for training is quite expensive but well worth it. So lets give all the new people some advice |

| Re: Tiling courses | | 4 days at a very bad training ... can't really call it a center, more small, very small industrial unit, and I had not laid a single tile before either.
It all depends on how much you need leading by the hand, and also how well you take to new skills.
Finding this forum taught me 100000% more than that course could have. | | |

| Re: Tiling courses | | 4 week course for me. I personally wouldn't have been confident enough after 2 weeks and certainly not 4 days, no disrepect to Darren here, personal thing!
The extra 2 weeks of practice with guidance helped me no end to into the big bad world on my own.
