    Default Centre Adivce ?

    Evening there guys and gals.

After looking through some Tiling Course I'm quite amazed to see how many centres and options there are around the country with a complete variety of programs and courses.

They be a few bad apples in the bunch going from a few reports online , but I've managed to find a few that have interested me the most.

I was wondering if any of you guys have trained or know people who trained at the following places ?

    1. alpinetiling.co.uk

These guys are fairly local to me , and look like a good company.

    2. http://www.diamondtrainingcentre.co.uk/

These guys are also local and I've seen Dan do a post with them , so this one probally answers itself.

    3. centraltilingtraining.co.uk

I came across these guys yesterday and the site looked good. Coventry isn't near me , but I don't mind travelling.

I'm not for one minute questioning any of the above at all , more just after general info.

Thanks for taking the time to read this guys.

    Hi there

Click on the links from our sponsors to see what they offer, they have all been approved to advertise on here because of the quality of the training they provide.

Also, make sure you get an ACCREDITED training certificate from your training provider. This is what distinguishes an excellent school from an 'average' school. It means they have also invested their time and effort to bring their school up to strict guidelines from the relevant awarding body.

As an example, ALL our courses carry a tiling qualification. Ranging from NOCN Level 1 all the way through to City & Guilds ICA's & NVQ's @ Level 2.

Be careful of 'glossy' websites promising you the earth and saying that you can get NVQ's with them. There are only 2 private training 'schools' that can offer you this - US & ABLE Skills. There are a few more assessment companies that can offer you an NVQ, but after a minimum of 3 years experience.

If you have any more questions on NVQ's / Qualifications / Training, then please post them in the NVQ forum for me or PM me

    Best regards
    Anthony

    Hi,

Check the tiling courses site and the courses feedback forum. If the training centre is worth visiting it's probably going to have feedback left about it. If it hasn't do some research into it before handing over cash.

I've closed this thread. If people do have feedback to leave about these centre's please leave it in the feedback forum.
