Default booked in @ NETT on the 7th JAN

really looking forward to it, has fantastic reviews and can't come quick enough.

I'm a self employed painter & dec and really looking at either incorporating it into my business or career change alltogether. P&D is getting soo cut throat these days with more and more people "doing" it themselves and also the "european" competitors willing to work for £4 a hour

anyone else going on these dates?

booked into the sea crest for my digs too, any good watering holes nearby that you can reccomend, purely for my last night "well done son" drink of corse

Avoid 'The Pier' pub on Ocean Rd.
Never went in there myself but my digs were opposite and it kicked off twice during my stay. Good viewing though.
Nice pub was at beach end of Ocean Rd, before the park & beach but I can't remember its name!?!?

    Hello John.

I'm also a painter and decorator I went on the course in November but decided to take it easy for now on the tiling front and really go for it after Christmas.
Ended up getting two Tiling Jobs and now I've seen what can be earned in two weekends tiling two bathrooms I cannot wait to get out of the decorating.

P.S. I hope you don't like Curry because you won't find an indian anywhere near your digs.

If you come out of your b&b the crest, turn right down the hill at the bottom turn right and if you walk along the high street there's loads of indians. Dicko you were at the wrong b&b

Take your car to nett from seacrest as its a long walk and its freezing down there.

Just got back from the course today and have to say the feedback is not hype.

Great course well structured and excellently presented. The whole team is spot on and put 100% into helping you get the most out of it.
There is loads to take in but if you pay attention you will be suprised what results you can achieve in such a short amount of time.

As for food and drink if you come out of the door at the Sea crest turn right and go down the hill directly at the bottom of the hill you will see a boozer, the Marine I think it is. Then all along that same road there is a couple more pubs and loads of places to eat.

Nett is about two minutes away by car. Make you own arrangements for lunch each day as the onsite cafe ( not linked to NETT ) is pretty crap so butties will save your belly rumbling. No need for a flask as Tracey & Co make sure your never far away from a brew and a biscuit.

Hope you enjoy your course pal

It is a curry eaters heaven, there is 56 curry houses on the same street right outside the b and bs, seacrest or kingsmere are the popular choices where people stay on the strip, if you want to be in 2 minuits walking distance from the training centre then the Athol is the place, just not much going on around there on a night time, all numbers are on our website.

And when you're in any of the eating houses I bet you'll become a Tile Spotter !!!!

You can't help it ... lol

I went into a Chinky take-away on Ocean Rd, placed my order and sat waiting for my Chow Mein supper.

    Then it happens.

You look at the floor tiles, working out where the first tile was laid against a corner and run along the wall creating that pi$$ed look around the centre, you'll look at how they should have laid it out to avoid all those sliver cuts that run around the opposite walls ... and so on and so on .... Ocean Rd the Tile Spotters paradise.

I was with the wife shopping, we went into one of those womens shops, you know the ones where you don't know were to look incase you're caught peeping at the underwear and you have to keep up with the wife or girlfreind so other shoppers know you're not in there shopping on your own!
Anyway, looking at the floor and see some holes and cracks on the corners of some of the tiles, obviously not enough adhesive in those spots and womans heels crack those corners ... I asked the wife if we could next go check the tiles on the floor in Ann Summers.
