Have you thought of traveling, perhaps to nett in the north.

well im trying to find local hopefully

This is a big mistake that people make, if you go somewhere just because its local and you blow your 400 quid or so on training that is poor or basic then youve wasted your money. Look for what the course offers and if you have to travel for the right training then it will be worth it in the long run. If you do training that is poor from a basic centre then you will have to travel and pay again for the proper training
Go on the feedback from others, there is a section below that has all the feedback you want on training centres

thanks darren yeah it seems that everyone keeps telling me to goto yourself NETT ive been in contact with a local tiler on here from scotland he is called charlie1 he trained with yourself and cant speak highly enough of you guys so think i may need to travel after all but can only get a week at a time off work so will have to be in stages would that be ok

Hi Rab
You wont be dissapointed with our training, i personaly do the tiling training myself and give you all the best fastest ways of doing the job correctly, there are loads of poorly run basic centres about and you will waste your money if you pick the wrong one
Our courses are all individual courses so you can do a week at a time if you prefer, ie the 9 day course you could do the first 5 days then do the other 4 days at a later date
The 5 day course is pretty full on so you might get away with the 5 days only
The courses run pretty much every week, good quality B and Bs are about £23 per night, about 5 min walk from us
Any other info just let me know
Regards
Darren
thanks darren
Hi Rab, how did you get on with your training? where did you end up going? I am based in Glasgow and looking for a course to go and do. I did a 3 month plastering course a few years ago which cost a fortune but I learned more working with a plasterer as a labourer prior to it. So this time I was thinking go shorter and work with someone for a while to build confidence and experience before going it alone.
Cheers mate, been in touch with them this afternoon. Gonna do the two week course and try work alongside someone for a while while trying to get work of my own. Thats the idea off course. Being based in Glasgow I don't suppose you could use an extra pair of hands a couple of days a week? Don't feel obliged though mate just thought I'd ask.
Cheers

am not busy at the mo m8,just new to the trade aswell, just finished college few months ago, started my training in edinburgh though, youll enjoy the 2 week course and learn loads great facilities and relaxed environment,g/luk
Good man, cheers. How have you been trying to get work? Have you sorted anything out with bathroom companies? I used to get work from a couple when I was plastering so would probably go down that route again. Hope its going well for you.
