Default Warning To Wanna-be Tilers

Being enthusiastic about getting into the tiling trade is obviously a good thing. But putting your trust in any type of training other than via a respected reputable training centre that has been running for a while and has proven tried and tested system and processes in place to get you trained to the right level quickly and efficiently is the only way to go!

Whether you want an NVQ or not is debatable but at the least you want to be trained as many have before, the same way they did.

A member of our forum was recently let down by a "time-served" professional wall and floor tiler that offered two weeks training on his own jobs for a daily fee. The member took the time off work in good faith and wanted to try this new way out. Only to be totally messed about by the said tiler.

Let's all learn from this. Please only trust a training centre that you've really looked into and consider to be the best one for you. Offers from untrained tilers, even good ones can only result in failure in the future somewhere down the line. You want to make sure you are being trained by a qualified tiler at least, and they should really be an NVQ orientated centre when possible.

The teachers at a good centre should have the right teaching qualifications. A time-served tiler maybe good but that route isn't a guaranteed route.

If you're seriously considering setting up your own business in the tiling trade you should give the business every chance it deserves to run well and profitable.

Only invest in quality training! IT CAN'T BE SAID ENOUGH!

We have our sponsors.... Professional Tiling Courses – Wall and Floor Tiling Course, Tiling Course provider, Chase Tiling Academy and Tiling Courses | Tiling Training Courses | Tiling Training | Wall Tiling Courses | Floor Tiling Courses | Tiling Courses in Scotland | North East Tiling Courses but there is also a list of tiling courses on our training site.. Tiling Courses - Wall and Floor Tiling Course - Tiling NVQ - Tiling Courses & Tiling Course Companies - note that we are not connected to any training centre here!

Check feedback about training centres in our feedback forum and do your homework! Note that this forum... www.tilersforums.co.uk is the only one in the UK that isn't run and owned by a training centre! Our feedback here is genuine, trusted and allows both good and bad feedback to be posted. And more importantly we allow feedback for ANY training centre so you should be able to find the good training facilities easily.
