I bought a dvd other day caled bricky and it was good but some of the tequniques they used were old fashioned, are there any good english dvd of how to tile from start to finish for beginners and pros alike.

Hi mate,
personally i havent seen any "good" ones that show you all aspects of tiling but thats not to say they dont exist.
Theres 1 or 2 out that ive maybe glanced at but they are normally hosted by someone from the home improvement shows and only covers the basics but if there are any good ones out there the guys here will point you in the right direction.

all dvd,s to me will show some things about setting out and fixing methods.. but go for a course then its hands on experiance....try one of these....

As a newbie....go to your local Topps and ask for the Topps "how to dvd"...this will help give you an insight into basics from ufh,wall/floor tiling,laminate fixing etc....Gaz

bought a tiling dvd thinking it would be a good aid 2 help me become a better tiler.what a load of rubbish , guy made a mistake in his setting out. think he was trying 2 save money on tiles, hoping no one would spot it.
