Smile Help!

Well at last i,ve decided what i want to do workwise, i ,m gonna try my hand at tiling. Can anyone recommend a good informative course that also covers the business/self employed side of things? I,m in south yorkshire but i,ll travel anywhere for the right course.
Is it possible to start up on my own after a 2 week course? has anyone here done just that? i,ve done basic tiling before, nothing fancy just the odd bathroom wall etc.
Do you have to have a van or will i get by with my 4x4 for now?

I,m sick of making other people lots of money and really want to give this a go,i,ve done professional dry lining etc up until recently when i decided to try other things that i decided wasn,t for me. i,ve always worked with tools can measure accurately etc, i just want to do something for me now!
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
THANKS!

Chase Tiling - worked for me big time. And stick with your 4x4 if you can't afford a van yet.

Cheers APM, i,ve started a 2 week course at PTS and i,m quite impressed already (just finished day 2.). i can see if i/the course progresses like this i should be at a reasonable level to go out there and earn some dosh as long as i stay within my limitations until i have the experience/ confidence to do the technical stuff. can,t wait! i,ll post more info as the course goes on.

excellent - but don't assume that you know everything at the end of 2 weeks - you will still have to learn a lot more when you go on site to get fully up to speed. Always keep an open mind and be ready to accept your mistakes and how not to make them next time.

And always ask for help and advice if you get stuck, don't let your pride get in the way.

All the best pal
