Companies House website confirms that STC/PTS has officially gone into receivership.

If anybody is owed certificates, courses, or tools then get in touch with them ASAP!

And the uktilingcourses website is down, don't know if Peter Wheatley is struggling too?

I've got the number of one of the assessors, I'll give him a ring tomorrow

No answers Dan but I also have a number of the main trainer, so will try him tomorrow

Thats a shame, they were giving away free ( govt. funded) assesments last time I heard from them

Had a chat with one of the ex-trainers at Pts, he told me he left about 4 months ago because he had been stitched up was his expession.

He lives close to the training building and said it was shut plus another building had closed also.

There was only one trainer left just before it shut.

Considering I was emailed a few months ago from them to set me up with a website, clutching straws I suppose.

If you call their centre now, they're open again?!?!?! And they deny any knowledge of going into receivership. They say they closed their warrington centre as they found bigger premises in Harlow. Though they're ready to take your money again by the looks of it!

Did anybody who did training with them get stung or is it just their supplier type creditors and the likes?!

Christ only knows what's going on right now with this and Diamond.

Diamond training group

Hi all great forum.
Im looking to undertake tiling training in the new year and was considering stc courses which i believe was previously called pts.
I am just abit concerned about the thread i have read about them going into recievership, can any one give me recent feed back about stc, also notice that there are sponsers for training on this forum can anyone recommend these?, im based in chatham ..many thanks.

Your best bet is to read our feedback forum for courses.. that might give you some indication to what others think to certain courses..


Tiling Courses Feedback

i have warren who worked at warrington on my facebook, his status a few weeks back was about him being back on the tools, and somebody else told me that they had shut due to poor attendance.

I was on their course in Harlow just before Christmas. I was very happy with it!

Looking at what happened with Diamond it might be advisable to pay for any course on your credit card and in part payments, ie. pay an initial deposit to secure your place and pay the balance later.
