Am I right to believe this centre in Harlow is now called STC (Specialist Trade Courses)?
I've booked in for a taster next week prior to booking on the 4wk course, so am a little confused but as their other ones in Warrington, guess it must be.
Suppose that leads to the question of why did they change their name?

Moved to the tiling courses forum as this is not feedback.

Re: PTS Tiling Courses - Essex Centre
Hi Longboat,
Yes it is the same one they are based in Harlow.
Since starting in 2006 they have had 3 name changes PTS, Specialist Training Courses and Specialist Trade Courses.
I am not sure what the reason for the name changes are but would look in to it before parting with your money.
Don't get me wrong I am not saying or implying that there is anything wrong, but we are in a bad economic climate at the moment and you need to be sure that the company you are planning on training with is rock solid and not about to go anywhere.
All the best and good luck

Re: PTS Tiling Courses - Essex Centre
Just to add to that, I feel I must mention that we have a plumbing and electrical forum and we're reading quite often that training centre's are going bust and people loosing up to even 8,000 quid!
So yeah, Danny's right, always check out any training centre.
I remember the name change from PTS to whatever was due to Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS) having issues with them running a centre under their established trademark. I'm sure it was noted on their website or something.
Not too sure why another name change and I never looked into the first to be honest so don't really know the facts.
Note also that our training sponsors are vetted and all sponsors (not just training ones) have to be well established and rock solid with good comments from regular members before they come on board, and that's not just feedback, we checkout local traders that live near the centre's and try to find out everything we can about them. Diamond certainly passed the bill and has been a brilliant sponsor and training centre as long as I have known.
