| Re: North East Tiling Training - Tyne and Wear | | I'm currently deciding what tiling course to book up with. I'm leaning towards doing the 5 day course at NETT. It has great feedback and appears a very very good course.
I have a few questions though and would be happy if someone could answer these for me cheers...
1) How many people are in a class, usually?
2) When it says "approved training centre" does this mean approved by The Tiling Association (TTA)
3) I like the idea of the book you get at the end "the bible". This sounds very useful. Is this as helpful as it sounds? and is this a new thing?
Thanks in advance. | | |

| Re: tiling courses | | It basically means that they are approved to deliver a course that will cover some of the qualification that you are looking for.
We are an accredited City & Guilds centre that deliver the full ICA award in tiling, top to bottom. That includes passing your Prometric CSCS Health & Safety test, which we also do. We will then enrol you onto your NVQ2 and our assessors will get you through that.
We have an ICA student currently on site experience that we provided, fully trained, CSCS passed and holding a First Aid At Work certificate. All done through our centre.
Our group sizes are small (Max 11) with 2 qualified tutors and assessors to teach you your new skill. You will also receive a training manual that has been approved by the City & Guilds for you to keep and use as reference.
There are only a few private centres in the UK that offer quality training. So be careful with your choice, as it could cost you.
Best Regards

| Re: tiling courses | | I think the 150 feedback testimonials we have on the site tells you what we deliver, they all cant be wrong, if you need to know what to do in tiling for a career from advertising, winning the jobs, doing bespoke tiling, backgrounds, preperation, pricing in fact everything you need to know to run a successfull business, we deliver, I could go on and tell you that we give national awards level 2 in tiling but thats just an extra, that wont put the money in your pocket, its the tiling skills and knowledge that you need that will make you successfull. you can go to the local collage and do an OSAT to get your NVQ should you want it when your ready. We generally have about 16 students with 3 tutors. If your looking for the skills needed to go into business in tiling, thats what we do.
Any questions, our website is very imformative in what we cover, however if you have any questions please give Tracey a call at the centre on 0191 4274529 | |
