Afternoon all

From reading the forums and searching hte internet am i correct that you can obtain a tiling nvq in 6 weeks ?
Has anyone ever trained in able skills ?

6 weeks? I very much doubt it. I may be wrong but as I understand it you are looking more like 3 to 6 months at least.

To obtain an NVQ you need to have an assessor come out to you and assess you working through an entire job. I think it may even be two or more jobs.

Either that or go to college for a year or so. Some do NVQ's in Tiling.

All you will achieve is ICA awards which are units towards an NVQ, an NVQ vocasional qualification is done in the workplace so you will have to be assessed out on site with about 3 visits

I'd stick to a course that has plenty of feedback here: http://www.tilersforums.co.uk/tiling-courses-feedback/ and avoid those that have no feedback there at all costs.
