| some advice from members? | | Evening everyone,
I am 22 years of age, and am currently working in administration in a city law firm... I aint on the best of money now and have had no hands on experience with tiling etc. I want to get in to tyling, but want some advice on which routes to take to progressing in a career in tyling. Would i be better to find a tilier and go along with him and learn aspects of the job? (what would they pay a trainee) _ for obvious finances that i have. Going on a course and going self employed? (baring in mind i have 25 days holiday a year and finances to pay each month) so cant just jack job in and not "earn while leaning"?
I have been looking at different courses to take (through this forum) and was wondering do i get a recognised certificate etc. to find different jobs doing tyling? - would i have a recognised qualification etc....
Please HELP ME as i am desperate to get into this line of work?
ps.... I live in the Essex area? any help would me very much appreciated.
Thanks in Advance | | |

| Re: some advice from members? | | You won't find a local tiler to train you as eventually you will take some of his work. Taking a course is probably your only option, but make sure you pick the right course because of what it teaches and not just because it may be near. | | |
