Attached here is a business plan start-up template, there are other ones out there as well. As far as forcasting goes, it is impossible to know how much you are going to make before you make it, so my advice is to just start small. Get ahold of Business Gateway, they will direct you to a website with free downloads of business plans that have linked excel spreadsheets--I don't have the link at hand. They are really good though, you just fill in the spreadsheet and it adjusts the word document. I could let you see mine, email me and I will send it to you. Cheers, Mike | ||||||||||

Murphy22 i did my training with the alpine trainng group in rye, east sussex it was really good, and a mate of mine is thinking of opening a tile shop in worthing later this year, could put you on to him when you are trained up. | ||||||||||

Thank you all! Really appreciate all the friendly advice and good sense. Tjsmiler - I agree - I am looking at starting small and just need enough to cover course, small cheap car/van and basic tools. I do agree, that this site is an absolute goldmine of info and help. Yankee1 & dhceramics - cheers for the biz plans- I got the NatWest CD in local branch yesterday and been working through it but will check out Enduro - yes, would be delighted. I also got confirmation from other London/Brighton company that said may have work on once ready to go etc so this is really giving me the incentive to get course done asap - WITH OR WITHOUT grant/loan. I may have to beg, borrow etc from friends and family over next few weeks - got big Irish family wedding on in August so I think I'll have to do a bit of canvassing at same!!!lol  Anyways, thanks again to all.
