There's no doubt its a physical job, but if your fit enought then age isnt an issue,

My granded was a metal laithe turner, and made specialist parts for industrial wash systems, when he was 70 the company who he worked for still employed him because there was no one skilled enough to do his job.

The company closed and he was headhunted to another company because they too couldnt find anyone else younger who could do what he could.

He only retired when my gran fell ill and passed away.

He's 83 now and could still run rings around people 15/20 years younger than him.

I'm 50! Started tiling last year and I don't have any problems.
