Does anyone know if someone who's unemployed can get funding or a grant for a tiling training course and if so where from?

I would suggest getting in touch with the job centre, they would surely know if there's any help available, another possibility would be your local buisness link..Mark.

A guy I know has been out of work 6 month will be doing a 12 week course in september plastering, bricklaying and tiling a month on each subject through the jobcentre

you can do an nvq in tiling at your local college its a full time course there were a few lads who did the course and a few went to the job centre and ask for funding

if you're unemployed you might as well go to college and do the full nvq as i believe you can get funding for this.
as mentioned, best go to the job centre and they will put you on the right track.
