Default city and guilds

I have just applied to go full time on a city and guilds intermediate (level 2) floor and wall tiling course. Do you think that I would benefit greater from doing a short intensive course, or sticking to the 1 year city and guilds? I am 20 and have no experience.

Mate if you are only 20 do the full year and try and learn out of college aswell.. whats the rush ? full time ...how will you live cash wise I take it you live with parents ? Go for it the long route if it's anything like doing a plumbing intensive course you will be hated by even Jesus Christ himself! Good luck mate

True, but in my curretn circumstances it would be a bit to much. After completing the city and guilds course, where does it leave me in terms of skills and employment? Is it more in depth than the short courses, or are they relatively the same?

What you wont get at college is how to price, run a business from tiling and how to deal and make money from customers, what you will learn at college in tiling skills is a waste of time in a domestic situation if you can not win the quotes of the customer to do the job
