| star tiler new warranty system for tile industry | | did anyone read the sun today about the new star scheme (specialist training approved registry) they guarantee your work up to £5000 saying it will be like corgi to gas, but you have to do a 4week course to get the certificate and get on the list, what do you think good idea or just another gimmick by the training centre.....? | | |

| Re: star tiler new warranty system for tile industry | | I might be wrong but i think i heard someone say its like an insurance policy that they run and you have to pay for the gaurentee for them putting the job right, its something like 500 quid and that covers the fees to put the job right if you have cocked up, like i say i might be wrong but thats what i heard, maybe someone can phone the company formaly known as PTS and ask them to clarify if they have to pay for this insurance. As far as im aware the award is their own certificate, i have never heard of STAR being a qualification, means nothing to me | |
