Re: courses near me
Cant help with the travelling but i can recommend Diamond Training at Arundel. I had a great tour of the premises and i was extremely impressed with the way its set out. Also the fact that its like real tiling and not just tiling a straight plasterboard wall.
Good luck.
Ask Kenny at Diamond, he may know of some B&B at good rates.

Re: courses near me
Hi Scoot,
We offer a special 10% discount for forum members and also at the minute are including a free carpentry section on certain courses.
but if I do a week or more at a time it will become to expensive for me.
The course that you choose to do can be split for your conveniance but you wouldn't pay any extra for this, so for example if you chose to do a 4 Week but decide to complete a Week once every Month for 4 Months you wouldn't pay 4x1 Week course costs, you would only pay the cost of the original 4 Week course.
If you need anymore help or advise give the centre a call, better still come and do one of our 1 Day taster courses which is totally free of charge. This way you can get a feel for the trade before making any decisions and also you can have a chat to students who are already in training.
If you do need B&B we have excellent relationships with local providers and have preferential half price rates in place for all of our students. Prices range from £20 -£25 pppn
Kenny.

Arundel looks pretty close (i used to live in hedge end), short journey if your going to start a new career, like the sound of the carpentry too.

Re: courses near me
Scoot, where ever you choose to go, make sure its an accrredited training provider that you use, so that you get a RECOGNISED QUALIFICATION at the end of of your training.
Otherwise you will be wasting your money and may find that you have to go elsewhere to learn what you didn't on your non accredited course
Good luck!!
