| UK Tiling Courses feedback | | I have just finished a 2 week course at UK Tiling Courses in Swindon.
What a fantastic course, You cover everything from using the correct tools, trowels, adhevisve, grout to setting out correctly, ( which is shown in a way which is very easy to understand) also you will tile both walls and floors in a number of patterns ( square, brickbond, diamond, borders ).
You also lay under floor heating and then tile over it.
Most of the course you are in your own bay tiling getting loads of practical experience and Pete is always on hand to help out if you get stuck.
Pete the instructor has been tiling for years and shows you all the little shortcuts you will need to make life alot easier and quicker.
The lads I met on the course were great and we didn't stop laughing all week, most of us will keep in touch.
Anyway to sum up my 2 weeks!
Fantastic course, Fantastic trainer, Fantatic bunch of lads, Worth every penny.

| Re: UK Tiling Courses - Swindon | | I did a few weeks at uk tiling courses in swindon in may of this year. All I can say is fantastic...! The course is intensive and you go straight into it as soon as you get there, no hard sell on tools or adhesives etc etc. The training provided by pete who owns and runs the place was second to none, only four of us there at the time so each of us had plenty of individual attention. You cover everything at uk tiling courses from the essentials to the little details that help you out in the real world of tiling, and pete is always there to talk to you in laymans terms and not like a stereotypical college tutor that just tells you rules from a sheet of paper.
Anyone wanting to learn tiling to a truely professional standard should give this course a go, I came out after a couple of weeks with all the confidence in the world, and have advertised and worked as a tiler since.
Since finishing at uk tiling courses I have attended other training centres closer to home for various other reasons and have seen the quality (or should i say lack of it) that some other places are offering, and this shows me just how good a course, uk tiling courses provides.....!
