The first week was very interesting and I learned alot - looking forward to week 2.

have completed the course now, and would thoroughly recommed it to anybody who is looking to become a professional wall and floor tiler anybody looking for training would be silly to bypass this training centre

Thumbs up uk tiling course in swindon

hi all just stumbled on this site, anyway, i attended uk tiling course in swindon last year, did a 2 week course, been self employed as a tiler since, GREAT course, left with all the confidence i needed and more, and since then i have used the after course back up advice many times, i would deffinitely recommend a trip to swindon for anyone wanting to learn how to tile , what tools and all other aspects of tiling and advice on setting yourself up on your own, have also spoke to other tilers who believe it to be the best course by far. and they should know, hope this helps anyone who is comtemplating a new career

Smile UK Tiling Courses feedback

I have just finished a 2 week course at UK Tiling Courses in Swindon.

What a fantastic course, You cover everything from using the correct tools, trowels, adhevisve, grout to setting out correctly, ( which is shown in a way which is very easy to understand) also you will tile both walls and floors in a number of patterns ( square, brickbond, diamond, borders ).
You also lay under floor heating and then tile over it.
Most of the course you are in your own bay tiling getting loads of practical experience and Pete is always on hand to help out if you get stuck.

Pete the instructor has been tiling for years and shows you all the little shortcuts you will need to make life alot easier and quicker.

The lads I met on the course were great and we didn't stop laughing all week, most of us will keep in touch.

Anyway to sum up my 2 weeks!
Fantastic course, Fantastic trainer, Fantatic bunch of lads, Worth every penny.

I did a few weeks at uk tiling courses in swindon in may of this year. All I can say is fantastic...! The course is intensive and you go straight into it as soon as you get there, no hard sell on tools or adhesives etc etc. The training provided by pete who owns and runs the place was second to none, only four of us there at the time so each of us had plenty of individual attention. You cover everything at uk tiling courses from the essentials to the little details that help you out in the real world of tiling, and pete is always there to talk to you in laymans terms and not like a stereotypical college tutor that just tells you rules from a sheet of paper.
Anyone wanting to learn tiling to a truely professional standard should give this course a go, I came out after a couple of weeks with all the confidence in the world, and have advertised and worked as a tiler since.
Since finishing at uk tiling courses I have attended other training centres closer to home for various other reasons and have seen the quality (or should i say lack of it) that some other places are offering, and this shows me just how good a course, uk tiling courses provides.....!

Hi All, Just reading about this course in swindon. please can anyone supply web site so I can have a look around as this sounds like a course I need to look into too to get started.
I have done 1 course but I need something better as the course I have done was only for 3 days, hence lack of confedence as this was my first attempt at tiling.
