That's what I intend to find out. The holes I need to drill are mostly small, like 6-8mm, and it's those that I'm a bit apprehensive about, as I need to drill them when the tiles are already fixed. When I do larger holes, I normally inundate the tile in, for example, my washboy (filled with cold,
clean, water). When the tiles are large, I've got a pan I use to inundate the tiles in.
I don't bother doing that with regular ceramics, but I find it's fairly effective with porcelain. They don't absorb much water either, so I don't have to let them dry that much before fixing them.
