| Re: Porcelain Queery..? | | Hi,
They are a light grey colour, the store just gave me grey grout
and never said anything about needing them sealed, i didnt think
white grout would do on a kitchen floor due to the high traffic and
looking dirty very quickly, but i will speak to the customer 2moro
on it... thanks for the tip!

| Re: Porcelain Queery..? | | I seal ALL porcelain that is not glazed - try the water test - drip a few drops of water onto the tiles - you will probabbly find that the drops look as though they will evebtually absordb into the tile. Once sealed you would delinately see a difference - the water glides across the surface of the tiles in bubbles.
You could do worse than using LTP Sealers ( my preferred brand ) - there is one designed for every application. As a nice touch they also have maintenance products for the customer to use for cleaning - harsh cleaners damage the sealers. If you phone "Specialist Tiling Products" in Harrogate, they will advise and deliver, or point you in the direction of a local stockist.

Caledonian. | White adhesive!! Grey grout will be fine, as long as the tiles are sealed

| Re: Porcelain Queery..? | | If any tile is quite pure or very light colour, best to back scim the tile as well as the ribs of adhesive or you will see the shadows of the adhesive, the back scim is with the flat side of the trowel at about 1mm thick | |
