was wondering if any1 has any info on the best cleaner for a slate floor that is in a bit of a bad way and then whats the best sealer to bring it up with a gd shine again many thanx in advance neil | ||||||||||

You will need a rotary scrubber to really get them clean and some stuff called Prochem ultrapac renovate.You would scrub the floor with the machine then use a wet vac to clean up the water from the scrub. There a plenty of slate sealers on the market it depends what finish you want, matt or gloss. Dont polish them. | ||||||||||

Also lithofin do a good range of cleaners........this one would be good for your project as well... lithofin MN Power-Clean - 1L An alkaline cleaner that dissolves and removes oil and grease marks, waxes, gloss films and residues from other floor care products and general soiling. Also for the removal of light cement films during and after grouting. For use on all marbles, polished and unpolished natural and artificial stone. | ||
