Default Black Limestone, now not so Black! Help!

Last summer we had a lovely black limestone patio laid, however as i have now discovered using a generic acidic patio cleaner is not very good for limestone (why i didn't realise this at the time I don't know?!) Anyway I am trying to restore the colour and get it back to black, just how it looks when it rains. It is currently a very dull grey, slightly uneven acid damage but generally it an even grey. Any suggestions on products I should use to restore the colour and produce either a matt black finish or even a wet look black finish. I don't think the limestone has ever been sealed, we have never sealed it!

    Thanks Andy

    Hi Andy and welcome..

LTP Stone oil , followed by LTP colour intensifier.. or LTP mattstone ... don't use a wet look sealer out side.. it will not last..

LTP can be bought from any Tile Giant store or direct online from LTP.. links are on the left in the sponsor box's.

wow that was a quick response. Thanks for the information. I do have easy access to HG products. Will any of their products be equivalent to the stone oil by LTP?

Definetly use color intensifier, it will bring more color from inside the stone!!!!
