Anyone know how true this statement is and why?

I was putting a quote together tonight, which required some Aquamix Grout Colourant & Cleaner.

Alot of my search results were showing products out of stock or no longer available.

Anyone else noticed this, or been affected and found a suitable replacement??

They are pulling out of the european market due to lack of sales.

Stocks are still available here and there though. I just wouldn't guarantee much backup support.

I always considered their products one of the best in the market, even if they did cost more than the rest.

I'm now wondering if the Unibond Grout Reviver from that big shed place is any good for my next job? lol I'll have to try it anyway, unless anyone already has and knows better.

So for the future then, looks like I'll be recommending LTP to my customers, as that's well stocked by one of my local suppliers.

Cheers Dan, I'm planning to ring around a few tomorrow and see if I can get a couple of bottles of white, and the pre-treat for just this job. Also planning to use a mould treatment prior to any of that.

I'll just have to change the advice I give from now on. Almost got caught out there!!

My quote is to restore 5sq m of blue mosaics with 4mm white grout lines. Was installed with no waterproof membrane, no grout protector/sealer, straight onto skimmed plaster

DJS i have found a new supplier of grout colorant from the states. They are just about to start importing to the uk and it is used by lots of contactors in the states and i have got great feed back from them. I have got some but have not used it as yet so dont want to say to much on the forum about it untill then. If you are interested let me know.
