Re: Basalt stains...advice needed
I had some a while back where the wrong sealer was used think it was ironwax...and it looked stained like that. I used Aquamix sealer & coating remove and a razor scraper. It is in this section 2nd page..7th post down. 'Applying Sealer' check it out.

Re: Basalt stains...advice needed
Hi, I sealed the tiles with lithofin stain stop a few hours prior to grouting with a sponge, I never let the sealer sit in a puddle or bubble etc, been tiling long enough to know the pit falls but didn t see this one coming

Re: Basalt stains...advice needed
IMO you do not grout the same day as you seal unless the sealer is suitable as a pre-sealer.. but on a product like Basalt then it would need more than one coat before grouting and allow this to cure and not just touch dry.. wetting sealer to early can result in staining or the streaky effect you have..
You can try to use a sealer remover and then clean down to neutralise and leave to dry thoroughly , then see what result you have before sealing again..
