Discuss what type of sealant in the Tile Cleaning and Restoration at TilersForums; I have laid a bathroom floor.I bought some wood affect porelain floor tiles from B x Q.Could i use a PVA or another sealant to stop any stains....

    I have laid a bathroom floor.I bought some wood affect porelain floor tiles from B x Q.Could i use a PVA or another sealant to stop any stains.

    Stains where..?.. Those are glazed tiles, so what stains are you getting.?

    If the porcelain is unsealed there are purpose made sealers on the market for your specific needs. If you are worried about the grout then also you can seal this but not with pva or I hasten to add the tiles. There are non stain water repellent sprays available too which can be applied to both tile & grout. Can be purchased at specialist tile shops..Regards Nigel

    I assume, as Dave says, that if they are 'wood effect; then they'll have a decorative glaze on them - therefore no sealer required
    Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarfs are not happy
