Question sealing stone mosaics

I 've just used some tile colour enhancer/sealer on some mosaic stone tiles that I have laid before grouting. However I have noticed a kind of window effect on some of the tiles. I have use 3/4 coats. Has anyone any experience with this ? Any advice would be welcome.

what do you mean by "window effect" mate? was it a topical or impregnating sealer you used? personally I seal after grouting to, and I'm wondering if you've sealed some wax from the underlying sheets onto the face of your mosaics

Its LTP tile sealer and colour enhancer so it seems like a topical product, although it does say it allows the surface to breathe.
When I said window effect, when i put the sealer on it seemed to be wetter around the edges but I had another look tonight now its dry and I cant notice that effect. I did however notice what you said about wax on the surface because some of the mosaics have a brown tint. I guess it must have hapened when I stacked them out of the way before laying them. This was after I had sealed them.

Yes David I did wipe the excess off. Is there a way to remove the wax mark ?
Also, what 's the best way to get rid of grout residue ?
