How many coats of sealer would you apply to quary tiles in a kitchen?
Thanks.

hi depends on your tile and sealer different tiles require different sealers wet check only works on some tiles wont show on porceline if you can give us the name and make one of us might know from experiance other opt ask supplier of tiles good luck
Should this read 'old quarry tiles'?
The older quarry tiles such as Ruabon and Platts had a very low absorbsion index and as such didn't need sealing - IMO.
However once they were laid and cleaned with a cement remover and when completely dry you can put a HG satin polish on the surface to give them lustre.
Have Ruabon tiles been re-invented yet. I heard on the grapevine of a buy out. News.
John.
