Heeelp! | | I've recently bought an original Victorian cast iron fireplace, complete with original deep blue tiles. It had been covered (including tiles) in white gloss, most of which had been removed before I bought it. Some of the tiles have large dull patches on them. It looks as though the glaze has either come off, or they have a coating of something on them. I've tried soapy water, white spirit, paint stripper and a lot of elbow grease but nothing has worked. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. |
