You mabe want to drop Tilinglogistics a PM if you really have to grind and polish. Did you not check the floor for flatness before you started?

If the old wooden floor underneath had water damage then I wouldn't have even started to think about laying ufh and tiling.

Good luck with it.

How deep is the lippage? What size are the tiles? Where is the job?

Really I don't see anyother way than lifting the floor, replacing damaged floor boards and retiling if the customer demands a flat level floor, unless there is a way of grinding them down and polishing them up.

It may be possible to grind and repolish it. But I need more information as requested in my earlier post

If it is genuinley only one tile it could probably be hand grond especially as it is only a couple of mm. I think i would be more tempted to do this than start lifting tiles IMHO
