expensive?

Discuss expensive? in the Tile Adhesive and Grout at Tilers Forum; BUILDFIX SILICONE...£5.44 a tube ,from b and q...thought this was outrageous.I know its MAPEI but at that price.Ialso noticed 2.5kg buidfix grout(mapei) £6.38...ffs they are having a laugh. Thankfully i ...

    BUILDFIX SILICONE...£5.44 a tube ,from b and q...thought this was outrageous.I know its MAPEI but at that price.Ialso noticed 2.5kg buidfix grout(mapei) £6.38...ffs they are having a laugh.

    Thankfully i was only looking.

    They also had buildfix adhesive(D1) £12.50

    are b and spew doing mapei???? i saw a new homelux range when i was last in including homelux u/floor heating for a bit cheaper than the leading brands anyone used this?

    is that not about what joe public would pay from a tile shop? sounds expensive for us trade lads but not that far off for the public.or is that just me?

    Think mapei D1 is £20 in my area for punters, i get it for alot less. Shocking the mark up price on it.

    Mapei d1 is a lot cheaper in CTD.......about a fiver a tub..
