porcelain mosaic in the

ive got a porcelain mosaic backsplash to do.
was thinking of using bal mosaic fix but the tiles are black would there be any problems with staining?

the walls are painted and are pretty rough almost artexed "dimples"
im thinking score through the paint and prime?
anybody help me with the proper plan of attack?
