    Glad to hear it Grumpy and i hope you never do, but for me the risk of using it again after having so many problems and know a fair few other tilers who have had problems i think i will just stick with BAL, their microcolour range is superb, easy to mix (mechanically or by hand) is lovely to use, is well priced and never ever fails

    i rarely use mapei grout anymore its too much hassle, i mainly use pci's , easy to mix ,apply and wash off and its top quality , why give yourself grief ??

    i used sontex grout for the first time today..mmmm ...i made it a bit thin and had to redo.Anyone use this grout?

    Customer has supplied me with two tubs of Wickes ready mixed grout today! thats hassle

    don't worry Brian, don't intend to use it. Strange thing is, it's a mate and the price included mats because I knew I had stuff in my garage to use up!!!

    Bal for walls definitely. Floors I don't have a preference.

    Mapei the best around. No efflorescence problems, cheaper, best by a mile..Most stockist i know now stock Mapei Grouts over all others.

    Ardruit for me grout colours choice is good and has never let me down
    2nd choice would be BAL
    3rd choice Mapie
