Re: Which Tile Adhesive did you use most during 2011..?
Ardex hands down. Good availability and the local stockists are a friendly bunch, unlike the mapei stockists! Next year though it's gonna be all Mapei as getting P9 for £13 a bag. That's compared to £29 for ardex x77 or £28 for P9 from the local stockists. Result!

Re: Which Tile Adhesive did you use most during 2011..?
It has to be Webber for me again this year. They have kept the prices competitive and the low cost as well as the low dust keeps me going back for more.

Re: Which Tile Adhesive did you use most during 2011..?
Mapei !! used a bit of webber from ctd, ardex etc way over would price me out of work, same as baln esp if you go with topps prices

Re: Which Tile Adhesive did you use most during 2011..?
Last year was mostly Ardex, That is the best adhesive I have used.
This year will be Ardex too and probably Stonefix which I dont rate to much anymore.

Re: Which Tile Adhesive did you use most during 2011..?
I used Bostik FixCombi exclusively in 2011 because it is one of the few approved adhesives for tiling onto vinyl tanking systems.

£29 for a bag of X77 was the bloke wearing a mask, good stuff to use but not worth that.
Weber for me 90% for the same reasons as Deano, others I use are Ardex, Bal or Nicobond.

Re: Which Tile Adhesive did you use most during 2011..?
just voted for ARDEX best by miles, but if you look at the poll then think Ardex & BAL ARE THE SAME COMPANY really, they are out in front.........

BAL is my addy of choice. Mostly because it's all I've ever used and it works well so not really been tempted to experiment lol.

Always used Bal from when I was a nipper, but Weber is serious quality for little money compared with Bal.
Can reduce your quote greatly on large jobs

If you look at it like that then it is Ardex out in front as they own BAL witch also means they own Dunlop.

Re: Which Tile Adhesive did you use most during 2011..?
BUT they are seperate adhesives and not the same make up, so vote for what you use and not who owns them

Re: Which Tile Adhesive did you use most during 2011..?
I was always Bal, dure to the local stockists, then they introduce Dunlop, which is loads cheaper for the same results, but then Mapei turned up and i can't fault it, price and performance wise.
