    Hi all any alternative to bal primer to prime concrete floors as my local shop sells 1L tubs only ? thanks

    also do you prime everytime you put something down eg slc, insulation boards ? thanks

    Depends on how absorbant or how dusty it maybe..a new floor screed should'nt need priming but if theres an old self leveling and a new one is going on top for example then I would prime..

    SBR is a good all round primer...


    Priming screeds is really only for dusty surfaces or to consolidate quite porous ones etc..
