& there standard slc (green bag)

Was going to get some tommorow, anybody use it, do you rate it, whats the pot life etc. Its for a concrete floor or should I be sticking with the spf rapid.

got to go with john here and say mapei

i use the rapid set plus for most of my floors, ......pot lifes around 20 to 30 mins, goes off quick 1 to 1 and a half hours, i prefer that, never used the standered slc, i always use the fiber base slc..

and its a nice light grey colour simalar to bal rapid set, stops the addy bleeding through the grout joints.

Rapid set plus will be great... Using quite a bit of Weber lately..

Mapei doesnt even make the top 3 for addy & grout for me.

ive been using alot of johnsons grout just now been really impressed by it anyone else used it ? i think i just use mapie alot as i can get it for free of the sites lol

didnt know they did a green one, my suppler only stocks the fiber base,.......what thickness will the standered slc go to?

30mm its a non flexi

bal stop gap is good slc it comes in the pink and blue bag im sure

I like the weber stuff, getting some good prices for it from my local supplier too.

Weber for me aswell, good prices and very local.

I'm a huge fan of weber, recently moved though so need to try and find a local supplier

i have to say it is Webber spf for me all be it that i can get Webber, BAL, Mapei and ardex all within a few quid of each other thanks to good old CTD.*

This years Adhesive Poll could be interesting !

my supplier in derby only sells weber, i get in there most mornings seems most of the tilers/builders ect all like it as the car park is usually busy!

Take it you got weber on special? was in ctd today & got 4 bags of weber.set rapid plus for a very good price. 1st time i have used it & i have to say i will use it again. Had to get a 10kg of Bal grout though!!!!

Aye m8, got 10 bags of the floor flex slc, 10 bags of the spf white & 30kg of the flexi wj grout all at a cracking price.

Good Good, Yeah got the invite, not sure if we are going to be able to make it though, im going to try to get up, work will dictate it next week.
Used 2 bags of weber today, good stuff & as you say a cracking price, adhesive sticks like the proverbial.
Took a job on at short notice, entrance hall of flats in johnstone, bit of a nightmare but got most of it tiled today, about 20 metre, go back & finish tomorrow.

Maybe see ye up there, gonna try & make one of the days.

Was it the SPF you where using, Amazing addy for the price! trying there Flexi WJ on Monday or Tuesday let you know how it compares to Superflex.

Yeah let me know, i am (maybe) a bal man but i could be easily swayed with the weber gear i have used. it was the weber.set rapid plus (concrete) addy we bought. very good to work with & quick setting.
Used the rapid spf white a couple of months ago & it was really good to work with.

Been a bal man last 14yrs im defo converted, just the grout to go ...

I've been using Weber Plus and SPF for years, it's all I'll use by choice for floors, I'm a PCI Nanolight man for walls though....

Just used the New Weber pro-grout today.. 100x50 brick travertine mosaics... spot on colour and nice to use..

I was using the weber-floor flex today, lovely slc and will go upto 50mm if needed.

I was using weber floor flex too for the first time in a wetroom today and was well impressed. Easily mixed and a lovely flow to it. Will defo use again.
