Default UniBond Rapid Set Wall & Floor Tile Grout - Wasing off and crumbling out

    Hello,

can anyone shed any help on this

I've used UniBond Rapid Set Wall & Floor Tile Grout to grout my outside tiles, it says it's for internal and external use

Did it 2 days ago, just come to polish up the tiles, and the grout is rubbing off on the cloth, you can even do it with your finger.

Scraped a bit with a screwdriver and it crumbled out!

I mixed it as they instructed on the bag, 1 part water to 3 parts grout, applied as instructed, but now I have this disaster!

just been reading some other posts, and it doesn't post Unibond in good light, so Im scared now as the adhesive is unibond, too!

Goig to have to remove all the grout, should ne easy though - and regrount, can anyone suggert a better grout for external use?

    Many thanks in advance

Thanks again, I'm going to opt for BAL, and hopefully get grout that doesn't crumble

Just looked at my original post, I wasn't drunk, honest when I typed that!

Had a similar problem about 18 months ago.Got a call back to a bathroom floor job, where the grout was practically jumping out of the joints,it was that soft i was able to get it all out with a stanley knife.Sent the sample back to the manufacturer who tested it and said there was nothing wrong with it!!! (my a*** there was!!!)took them 3 months though!
