where to get backerboard ?
Afternoon guys n gals . Im after 40 6mm backerboards which i need pronto ! i live where i have little choice apart from topps which i think r still pricey with discount..I know theres loads of choice on net but was after a repitable company which you use yourselves.

im in west wales and the backerboard is for a bathroom floor which has t and g chipboard and the walls are skimmed plasterboard (the customer has 12 mm travertine)its a new build and the room has no shower in it

i got some from topps last week because the local builders centre was waiting for a delivery, i thought topps was the same price till i got to the job and realised the topps boards are only 1200 x 800 not 1500 x 900. i then had to buy another board to make it up. make sure the floor is solid before you lay the hardi's as they offer little to the strength/deflection of the floor

If you are going to use them on a floor then the thinnest polycore type i would use is 10mm.

I use No More Ply for a lot of my timber floors and don't have any complaints......

Never been as happy using no more ply as i have using cement board i.e. aquapanel,seems so much stronger.Lovely to tile onto.
