As above, if we can find out what brand it is it would make it easier to advise. Also what kind of tiles are they (ceramics/natural stone...)?

Hi,
sorry for the delay, when it rains it pours my poor old mums been taken ill past week so my apologies for the delay getting back! The floor grout that was used was unibond water proof ready mix and the tiles are a black b and q rough ceramic.

Have you called him? I really hope he wasnt paid.
If you cant get him back then I would give the manufacturer a call and ask them what they recommend. I dont use ready mixed grout so I wouldn't like to advise on which chemicals to use.
