    hi
    when laying porcelain tiles on walls or floors do you still use spaces?

    Spaces or spacers?
    In all cases you will need to have a grout joint. 3mm minimum for floors and 2mm minimum for walls and as Whitebeam states, spacers will help stop tiles succumbing to gravity on walls.
