    Obviously those tiles were fitted on the horizontal and there's been water ingress.

    you will still get water behind wall tiles too in a shower area

    And even without water... as said in Sandy's thread, the tubbed stuff we used on the course fixed the tiles on the walls, but a few days later those tiles came off pretty easily still, it was cold, but not wet... the best demonstration possible to me that it isn't reliable.
