hybrid grouts in the
Tile Adhesive, Grout and Substrate Preparation at TilersForums;
has anyone used thse at all
im not sure how new they are but havent seen them before seemingly the same spec as epoxy but the easiness of using cement ... -

any advice or opinions guys?
i beleive ardex do one in grey or white not sure if anyone else does

epoxy enhanced grouts have been available for a long time I am sure laticrete were making them 20 years ago and remember using them, the benefit back then was cold water washing and no epoxy haze but they werent recommended for food prep areas as I remember not sure what the current batch are like

Yes, in Egypt they have a product like that, I liked it so much I brought 10kg back with me! It's too sanded though for most applications, and probably not as strong as either cement or epoxy grout, seems weaker here than it did in Egypt, maybe it's too damp here. Where do you get your Laticrete from, Gary? Can't seem to find a supplier in the UK..it really bugs me.

I havent used laticrete since the 90's and it was on airport and hotel work where it was specified and the companies I subbed from got it in

used an ardex white hybrid grout today,was much easier to apply than epoxy but felt it was much the same to clean down,it was easier however to work with
