Post what are the ways to level up concrete floor when they are at least 10mm lower?

Hi, I have a 11 s.q.m. job where there are 80% are 10mm lower than other place; I have been suggested by a builder to put down 9mm cement board with proper spread of floor glue; which is a lot more cheaper, stabler and stronger than slc; should I have any other options? answers are much appreciated~~~~

Prime the floor and use a good SLC. No problems .

Usa a quality slc after priming floor....it's how I do it. If more than 20 mm, I use marmox boards, then slc over the top.

I would use slc on 10mm.

SLC for me. There are a few on the market now that are able to cope with being laid up to 50mm in one hit.

I used both on mine. Self Levelling to bring it part way up then 9mm Hardibacker screwed down at 150mm centres to give me something I trusted to tile onto. My SLC was ay risk cos the sub floor was powdery and unstable. I tiled it several months ago now and it all seems fine. However the fact that the hardi is not stuck down means it does all sound a bit hollow.
you must all buy this song from any good download site for just 79p. Proceeds to Blesma, RAFA and RAFBF charities

The adhesive underneath hardie is just to fill the voids, not stick it down as such. Thats why it sounds hollow, because it is...........
