I went to see a job today to tile a splashback. One of the walls (1.5m2) has been completely 'plastered' with a rapid drying powdered filler rather than plaster!! (Toupret Expert TX110, the bag had been left behind).
I wondered if anyone else had ever come across this. It seems stable and wondered if it would be ok to just prime it and treat it as a plastered wall?
The ceramic tiles are light wieght (75mm x 150mm 9mm) but I'll have to use a cement based ady as the backs are recessed.

I just looked it up and it is a top quality French filler.. rapid setting and paintable in 3 hrs.

Liewise, Id go over it as long as it was solid.

I had a look aswell, but theres was no mention of tiling or what you cant do with it.
