    Question just a quick question about cements

    BAL QUICK SET CEMENT, is it toxic to animals when set. i am building a lizard vivarium and will need a cement for the pool and obviousness don't want to kill the lizard. I would be real great-full for any tips or alternatives thanks.

    You really need to contact the technical help line of your chosen adhesive manufacturer, they will be able to advise of any toxins used in the manufacture of their products.

    I do know you are not supposed to cement render fish ponds because the alkalis are harmful to the fish but not sure about Lizards.......of course Lizards aint fish.......but then I guess you know that.

    You are unlikely to get the answers you seek from the technical department of the adhesive manufacturers but then I am up for being surprised. You would be better off contacting your local Zoo or possibly a Vet
