    Default Massive regrout 100s of m2

    Hi I have to find something suitable for a big rake out and re grout and the Fein is not up to the job as they can't take the stick all day is there anything out there the joints are up to 10mm and it's old tiling any help appreciated.

    by the way, what's wrong with the grout? Can you not just re-colour it? or is it knackered?

    5 inch cutter with 2 thin blades,washer in between,plus vacum.I use bosch cutter,hilti vac.Cutter wont go all day, do you have 2, 5 inch cutters ?

    Look at trimline catalogue page 145,cutting disc guard.Battery cutters with bags on wont really be upto the job in my opinion.If you dont want to buy a vac attachment,then its hold vac pipe in one hand and cutter in the other.

    I would consider the larger Exact saw DC270. With the diamond blade it goes through grout accurately no problem and the dust extractor outlet ( if you choose to use it) is efficient. After the job you have a great tool for cutting ply.

    I'm assuming the Makita WB, I think Del has a point with the cordless so it might be worth getting a second battery if going for that option on 100sqm. I know it's only 12v but it's 3ah so will have some grunt to it
