    Default Adhesive minefield!

    Hi all,
Just about to buy some SPF for my tanked shower area and I didn't realise the amount of different manufacturers. What would be the most cost effective addy as I've seen some that state a 20kg bag will cover 5m2 and others 7.5m2 etc. I've seen BAL for £40 a bag and I will need 2 what can I use thats cheaper? My tiles are 240 x 300 if that helps.

mapei at trade price or bal at trade price still very high but there defence for the high price is the 25 tear garauntee .
so if you do go for bal stick to the guidelines get a qualified tradesman to fix and use bal grout or the garauntee aint worth nada go to your local tile giant and buy mapei if your not in the trade places like topps tiles if that is where you went for the bal prices are rip offs too so added with bal prices and topps prices equals high rip off prices .

soz meant to say go for a mapei kerraquick is the one i would go for i get mine (grey) 20 kg bag white is more expensive but if using a light coloured grout go for white and if you have time try and sign up for a tile giant trade card i think you can do this through this site as they are a sponser.
By the way dont quote me on these prices as i live in eastbourne and we do not have a tile giant here sotend to get mine through an independent supplier . good luck but £40.00 per bag andyou think you will need 2 more likely 3 is a lot of money
