Default Flexible addy for plasterboard?? Also what centres for timbers?

    Hello

As the question says really. The walls are to be plaster boarded. So will it be nessecary to use flexi addy?

Also, the walls are timber framed and i just wondered what the gap between the timber uprights should be. Should I put some noggins in for extra strengh?

    Thanks

I use flexible addy as standard, your stud centres (imo) should be no greater than 400mm and the more noggins (or dwangs!) you can get in, the better

You will probs find the centres at 450mm to suit 900mm wide boards....and as above a modified adhesive will help with lateral stress and any vibration form closing doors etc... again use a modified grout.
