Hey guys
picture this 1200 x 1200 concrete shower tray roughly 6-8 inches deep.
Now it has to be prepared for tiling by being screeded from around 20mm to 1 - 2 mm how would you actually screed this in.
please tell me how you would screed this.

I usually use a mixture of latex levelling compound, bulked with an equal amount of sharp sand.
This can be tapered from the 20mm to 2-3mm.

150-200mm is deep for a standard screed, could you not use some rapid concrete to build up first then screed

Used a rapidset in the end. Just wanted to get ideas how u would set the levels etc and method for actually doing the screeding

normally screed level around perimatre then fall to waste 12mm to 15mm is all you need on a base that size best to have waste centred or you will find it a bit harder
